Travelers from certain countries, including most African and Asian nations, Russia, and some Eastern European countries, are required to have a visa to enter Mexico, even on a private jet. For example, Chinese nationals must hold a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond their stay, as well as a visa obtained from a Mexican embassy or consulate. However, citizens from visa-exempt countries, such as the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Schengen Area countries, can enter Mexico for tourism or business without a visa. Additionally, travelers holding a valid visa or permanent residency from these visa-exempt countries may also be eligible to enter without a separate Mexican visa.
All foreign visitors, regardless of nationality, must complete a Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM), which serves as a tourist permit for up to 180 days and can be obtained online or upon arrival. Travelers should be prepared to provide proof of sufficient funds, a return or onward ticket, and, if applicable, meet any health requirements such as vaccinations. Given that visa regulations can change, travelers are advised to verify the latest requirements with a Mexican consulate before departure to ensure a smooth entry into Mexico.
Each passenger can bring up to 3 liters of alcoholic beverages into Mexico duty-free. Any amount above this is subject to duties and taxes at the discretion of Mexican customs officials.
Duty-free items and valuables, including jewelry and large sums of cash (over $10,000 USD), must be declared upon arrival. Failure to do so can result in fines and confiscation of the undeclared items.
We ask that all services be booked preferably at least 24 hours in advance to ensure the highest quality of service and availability.
